Job description:
Hiring immediately for a Full-Time Food Production Associate at Gordon Food Service Store LLC, located at 34300 S Gratiot Ave, Clinton Township, MI, 48035-3538. We offer competitive pay ranging from $15 to $16 per hour, commensurate with experience. Our store operates from Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Please note, we observe holidays and are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter.

Responsibilities include preparing sliced meats and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps (candidates must be at least 18 years of age to operate meat slicers), juicing ingredients for customer beverages, adhering to all food safety and sanitation protocols, and performing various tasks such as stocking, cashiering, or other areas of food production during quieter periods. You will also utilize a rotisserie oven and broaster for cooking and will be responsible for taking food temperatures and changing oil in the broasters.

Ideal candidates will be at least 16 years of age, possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service, multitask effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively. Basic math and computer skills are necessary, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
