In this role, you will receive a competitive compensation of $18.95 per hour, with the opportunity for a pay increase after 90 days. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 7:30 AM and continuing until completion of daily routes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate delivery trucks to meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, and position them in designated storage areas at customer locations.
• Ensure delivery accuracy by verifying orders with customers and obtaining necessary signatures.
• Manage collections and payments from customers as applicable.
• Deliver top-notch customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull weights ranging from 20 to over 80 lbs throughout each shift.
• Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions, making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of residence, with appropriate endorsements if required.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and pre-employment testing, which includes drug screening and background checks.
• No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years; no DUI convictions in the last three years; no driver’s license suspensions in the last three years.
• While commercial driving experience is not required, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, or six months of relevant local delivery experience and/or foodservice experience.
• Experience with hand cart deliveries is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to accommodate customer requirements.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English as related to job tasks and safety regulations.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
