Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a consistently outstanding level of customer service.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phone calls warmly and assisting with a variety of inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system efficiently.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when required.
    • Assisting in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude is essential.
  • Punctuality and reliability are critical.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to positively engage with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Strong listening skills coupled with the ability to empathize and resolve problems effectively.
  • Demonstrating diplomacy in all interactions while maintaining appropriate behavior and language.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
