Job Overview
The Logistics Operator I plays a critical role in fulfilling customer orders. This position involves navigating the warehouse to retrieve and stack products and quantities according to the Pick Ticket, utilizing an assigned computer screen while operating on a pre-determined conveyor or pallet. The individual will be responsible for constructing stable pallets of products, ensuring adherence to warehouse and company standards regarding safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately retrieve and place specified quantities of products onto designated pallets as instructed by the Pick Ticket. This includes safely building stable pallets while exceeding warehouse and company standards for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Transport pallets of stacked products throughout various areas of the warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) – Pallet Jack, adhering to safety and efficiency protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, completing housekeeping duties as assigned or as necessary.
  • Execute the daily PIT checklist and promptly report any issues to warehouse management.
  • Address and resolve errors identified by the Checker related to product and/or quantity discrepancies.
  • Engage in miscellaneous tasks as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of walking and repetitively lifting weights from 30 to 75 lbs.
  • Strong collaborative skills to effectively work within a team setting.
  • Proficient in organizing and coordinating dependable warehouse processes.
  • Flexibility to transition between various work areas throughout the day while meeting established performance expectations.
  • Competency in reading and interpreting instructions displayed on computer screens.

Minimum Qualifications
