Job Description
Job Title: Banquet Server | Part-Time| Sharonville Convention Center
Company: Spectra Experiences
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Pay: $15 – 17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $17 for a part-time Banquet Server position at the Sharonville Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH, is generally competitive but somewhat on the lower end for this type of role, especially in a city where the cost of living is considered. According to industry standards, banquet servers typically earn between $15 to $25 per hour depending on experience, the specific venue, and tips, with larger or upscale establishments often offering higher rates. In addition, Cincinnati’s minimum wage, which is currently around $10.10 per hour, means that the offered rate is above minimum wage, but the compensation may not fully reflect the demands of the job or the market rates in the hospitality sector. Overall, while the pay is acceptable, especially for part-time work, it might benefit from adjustments to attract and retain skilled workers in a competitive hospitality job market.
