We are seeking to fill a part-time Housekeeper position immediately. The position is located at Henry Ford River District Hospital, 4100 South River Road, East China, MI 48054. Please note that we only accept applications submitted online.

Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper, you will perform light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and order in various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, and cleaning rooms and hallways.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service through attentive detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers.
• Dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Address housekeeping issues, such as spills and broken items.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
