This role offers a competitive compensation of $18.95 per hour, with the potential for an increase after 90 days. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 7:30 AM until completion of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers within scheduled timeframes.
• Carefully unload products from the trailer using a hand truck, pallet jack, or by hand, and place items in designated storage areas at customer locations.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
• Handle customer collections and payment processing as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds during each shift.
• Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions, with frequent stops throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21 years is required.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license issued in your state of legal residence, with appropriate endorsements if necessary.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment tests, including drug screening and background checks.
• A maximum of two traffic violation convictions within the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
• Professional driving experience is not required; however, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, or six months of local delivery and/or foodservice industry experience.
• Experience with hand cart delivery is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English, particularly regarding job and safety protocols.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
