This position offers competitive compensation starting at $18.95/hour, with an increase in pay after 90 days. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 7:30 AM until completion of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the vehicle using equipment such as two-wheelers or pallet jacks, and place items in designated areas at customer locations.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and collect necessary signatures.
• Manage collections and payments from customers when required.
• Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
• Comfortably perform driving and delivery tasks in various weather conditions, with frequent stops (10 or more per shift).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license issued by your state of residence, with appropriate endorsements as required.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and complete pre-employment testing, including drug screening and background checks.
• No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years and no DUI convictions in the past three years; no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
• While commercial or professional driving experience is not required, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, as well as six months of local delivery experience or relevant foodservice industry experience.
• Previous hand cart delivery experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English in relation to job duties and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills are necessary (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
