Xcel Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physician Liaison/Marketing Representative who is passionate about fostering strong relationships within the healthcare community. The Physician and Community Marketing Representative will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local physicians and potential patients, effectively promoting Xcel Physical Therapy’s services. This role may also involve engagement with employers and payers. Please note that this position does not require the creation of advertisements, enhancement of SEO/SEM, or website development. Collaborating closely with the CEO, Marketing Director, and Clinic Directors, the representative will play a vital role in executing strategic marketing initiatives and will serve as the face of our organization at community events.
Key Responsibilities:
Physician Marketing and Relations
- Establish and nurture relationships with targeted physicians and clinical referral sources.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, Marketing Director, and Clinic Directors.
- Achieve a target of eight direct physician contacts per day, totaling 16-20 per week.
- Participate in and host various physician and community events, such as Chamber of Commerce meetings, health fairs, vendor booths, and networking events.
- Facilitate opportunities for physical therapists to connect with customers and referral sources.
- Communicate effectively with referring providers and their office staff.
- Attend monthly marketing meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure customer requests are addressed swiftly and appropriately.
- Develop a consistent routing schedule to meet the needs of both internal and external clients.
- Track physician referral information and relationship-building activities in Salesforce.
- Undertake additional work-related tasks as assigned.
Community Engagement and Brand Awareness
- Work with leadership to plan and organize community events.
- Forge local partnerships through sponsorships and collaborations.
- Oversee the organization and distribution of marketing collateral.
- Assist in maintaining and promoting the corporate brand identity.
Planning and Training
- Contribute to the development of a quarterly marketing plan that includes budgeting, collateral, relationship cultivation, community image, and service excellence.
- Provide regular updates on marketing activities and demographic data to support initiatives.
- Deliver marketing training sessions for Clinic Directors and designated staff.
- Maintain an updated database of referral sources in Salesforce.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, clinical fields, or a related area, coupled with relevant sales/marketing experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience in medical or healthcare sales is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- A personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required for this position.
