Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to all Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing outstanding customer service.
- Manage front desk operations, which include:
- Answering phones in a courteous manner, checking members in, facilitating new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
- Implementing necessary updates to members’ accounts.
- Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- A genuine passion for fitness and health is essential.
- Possess an upbeat and positive attitude!
- Punctuality and reliability are imperative.
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, capable of interacting positively and professionally with both members and co-workers to exceed expectations.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions, demonstrating diplomacy and appropriate conduct.
