The Mental Health Provider will play a critical role in our healthcare team by being responsible for treatment planning, conducting assessments, maintaining thorough documentation of clinical progress, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families. Additionally, Mental Health Providers may lead group sessions and educational workshops, collaborating closely with the clinical team to facilitate optimal health outcomes and ensure seamless coordination of care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Duties (may include, but are not limited to):

  • Deliver patient-centered, outcomes-based, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families aged 12 years and older.
  • Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational groups as appropriate.
  • Develop and present psychoeducational webinars and workshops focused on various mental health topics.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health and medical clinicians to ensure integrated continuity of care for patients.

Administrative Duties (may include, but are not limited to):

  • Utilize computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Address the social needs of patients and utilize appropriate resources for referrals related to specialty care, hospitalization, or advanced psychiatric assessments and treatments.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s level license in mental health, including but not limited to psychologists, licensed counselors, licensed social workers, and licensed marriage & family therapists (LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, and/or PhD).
  • If in the process of obtaining independent licensure, must secure licensure within two years of the hire date.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing counseling and mental health services, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and psychological issues.
  • Preferred experience of two or more years as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician.
  • Preferred background in employing evidence-based treatments for a range of behavioral health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
  • Preferred experience in behavioral interventions, critical incident management, and case management.
