The compensation for this role is competitive at $25.55 per hour. Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical workweek consists of 4 days, 12 hours each day.
  • Saturday deliveries are frequently required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may involve night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions with frequent stops (typically 10 or more per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid CDL Class A issued by your state of legal residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry OR three months of commercial driving experience specifically in the food and beverage delivery sector.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in certain locations.
  • Candidates must be able to read and effectively communicate in English, capable of holding conversations, comprehending traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and accurately entering information on reports and records.
