Embark on a journey with a leading company in the foodservice industry. We are committed to your success, offering our Delivery Drivers a competitive starting wage of $24.08 per hour, with an increase to $26 per hour after 90 days. Upon completing training, you will have the opportunity to transition to component pay.
We offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days, which includes medical, dental, vision coverage, 401K, life insurance, and a strong commitment to safety. Enjoy a balanced work schedule with a four-day work week, from Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays off, and early start times between 3 AM and 5 AM.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks to deliver goods to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Carefully unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated storage areas.
- Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain appropriate signatures.
- Handle customer collections and payments as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. consistently throughout each shift.
- Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ stops per shift).
Qualifications:
- Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry is required.
- Preference for candidates with the ability to operate a manual transmission; this may be necessary in certain locations.
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English, including the ability to engage in conversations, comprehend highway signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and document information.
