Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in network and server management, demonstrating a track record of increased technical responsibility.
- At least 2 years of help desk experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a team-oriented approach, as this role serves as an escalation point for Tier I and Tier II Technicians.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
- Proficient in resolving desktop/laptop and advanced network issues.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server operating systems.
- Experience with Hyper-V, VMWare, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 Administration, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and SQL.
- Comfortable engaging with customers, working independently, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+.
- CCNA certification.
- Microsoft 365 platform certifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement network infrastructure builds and modifications.
- Oversee the planning and execution of migration services for clients.
- Configure and deploy firewalls, switches, access points, and associated hardware.
- Troubleshoot complex network and server issues.
- Manage help desk operations by opening, addressing, and closing help desk tickets.
- Respond to incoming support calls and emails promptly.
- Provide mobile device, desktop, and laptop support.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Server OS, virtualization, and macOS.
- Facilitate user data migration.
Licenses and Registrations
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Physical Demands
The responsibilities of this position necessitate regular communication and auditory engagement. The successful candidate must be capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
