Caregiver Job Responsibilities Include:
– Providing caring companionship and engaging conversation.
– Assisting with incidental transportation.
– Running errands and shopping.
– Performing light housekeeping, cooking, and medication reminders.
– Offering specialized care for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.
– Supporting individuals with ALS and Parkinson’s disease.
– Assisting with bathing, incontinence, and personal care.
– Conducting transfers using Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Requirements for Success:
– Candidates must be compassionate, reliable, friendly, and patient.
– Completion of a comprehensive criminal background check and DMV record check is required.
– Reliable transportation is necessary.
– A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and registration are mandatory.
– A current TB test, which can be completed after the interview, is required.
– Punctuality and reliability are essential.
