We are seeking a dedicated individual to uphold our receiving and merchandising standards while fostering team efficiency and collaboration among Associates. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional customer experience through active engagement and by maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities:
– Cultivate a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
– Foster a culture rooted in honesty and integrity, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
– Oversee the delivery of merchandise, prioritizing the timely processing and display on the sales floor.
– Train and mentor Associates on effective merchandising and processing practices.
– Ensure accurate tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of merchandise.
– Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to facilitate a seamless flow of goods to the sales floor.
– Guide Associates in completing tasks in alignment with store objectives, adjusting prioritization as necessary.
– Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as required.
– Organize and rotate back stock for streamlined replenishment.
– Uphold merchandising philosophy and maintain signage standards across the store.
– Maintain organizational and cleanliness standards within the backroom area.
– Ensure compliance with recycling initiatives and hazardous waste protocols, as applicable.
– Communicate effectively with management and Associates to prioritize tasks and provide timely updates on progress.
– Actively engage in giving and receiving recognition and constructive feedback.
– Partner with Management to identify and address training needs of Associates to enhance overall performance.
– Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
– Promote credit and loyalty programs.
– Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing store shrinkage.
– Advocate for workplace safety and ensure a secure environment.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
