Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with personal care needs, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and incontinence care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Monitor residents for any changes in condition and promptly communicate observations to the supervisor.
  • Exercise sound judgment in delivering client care and ensuring safety.
  • Communicate professionally with residents’ families, support services, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience working with elderly individuals is preferred.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
  • A positive attitude and punctuality for all shifts are essential.
