Job description:
Accurately meets customer needs by delivering auto parts and tires promptly, efficiently, and professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

– Deliver exceptional customer service daily, consistently exceeding customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures.
– Pull tires based on customer orders and load them into delivery vehicles.
– Verify the accuracy of deliveries and determine effective routing.
– Complete and return forms, manage invoices, transfers, and other paperwork accurately.
– Unload deliveries, pull orders, and perform other warehouse duties when no deliveries are pending.
– Observe and comply with all necessary safety regulations at all times.
– Relay pertinent information to the manager in a timely manner.
– Address customer inquiries courteously and professionally, referring complex issues to the manager as necessary.
– Ensure timely and effective delivery of customer orders, making only assigned deliveries and communicating with the manager from the customer’s location as required.
– Depart customer sites promptly after making deliveries.
– Follow vehicle safety procedures diligently, initial all cash invoices clearly, and adhere to established cash handling protocols.
– Complete return forms accurately and promptly.
– Verify and finalize invoices with precision, recording all necessary information.
– Complete transfers correctly and perform weekly vehicle inspections.
– Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks as needed, informing the manager of any non-routine repairs or maintenance required.
– Ensure daily cleanup and maintenance of company vehicles.
– Accurately pull tires to fulfill orders and stock them in the correct order.
– Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles.
– Perform facility maintenance, including housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
– Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity when interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
– Accurately and efficiently follow both oral and written instructions, working collaboratively as part of a team and meeting deadlines.
– Deliver high-quality work with attention to detail, adhere to company policies, and fulfill attendance and punctuality requirements.
– Proactively seek and prepare for training opportunities, both internally and externally.
– Report to work on time, adhering to company policy guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A minimum of two years of driving experience/license preferred.

Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing across various measures, utilizing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages as well as interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense in executing detailed, straightforward written or oral instructions. Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
