Job description:

A Senior Retail Project Manager in construction for large retail stores (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Costco, Meijer) will be responsible for overseeing the development of retail spaces from the ground up. This role necessitates extensive experience in managing multi-million-dollar projects, typically exceeding $10 million, with a focus on ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of construction work, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Concrete work.
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and objectives.
  • Leading project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to site conditions, design changes, or contractor performance.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
