As a Med Tech, you will be scheduled for 8-hour shifts, with all shifts available. Your responsibilities will include:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
– Administering medications and injections to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and medical charts.
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
– Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
– Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly communicating findings to your supervisor.
– Following established schedules and assisting residents with repositioning as needed.
– Documenting medications in accordance with protocols.
– Exercising sound judgment in providing patient care and ensuring safety.
– Assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities as needed.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
– Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with dining as required.
– Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
