We are currently seeking part-time Housekeepers to join our team immediately.

The positions are based at MyMichigan Saginaw, located at 800 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Please note that we only accept online applications.

The schedule for this part-time role will vary, with shifts primarily during the daytime hours. 1st shift starts as early as 6:30 AM and concludes by 4:00 PM; further details will be provided during the interview process.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will perform light cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by providing individualized attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Arrange beds and change linens as required.
• Rearrange furniture and amenities according to the established layout.
• Address guest queries and requests promptly.
• Handle housekeeping issues, including spills and broken glass.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
