Our Claims and Customer Service analytics team performs comprehensive analyses to identify trends in claims frequency, severity, and customer satisfaction. We deliver actionable insights that optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and decrease costs. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, we evaluate the impact of customer support initiatives—including chatbots, call routing enhancements, and new business channels—to ensure they align with strategic objectives. Additionally, we address complex business challenges, pinpointing investment opportunities to refine internal systems and establish partnerships with external vendors for measurable improvements and sustained growth.
As a Lead Analyst, you will take charge of exploratory research, conduct A/B tests, assess the downstream impacts of innovative business strategies, analyze the overall performance of our claims and customer service teams, and develop new metrics and reporting mechanisms to redefine our business measurement approaches. You will engage closely with leaders in Product, Data Science, Design, Claims Operations, and Engineering to ensure that our business decisions and strategies are data-driven and yield optimal outcomes.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000 (Bonus and LTI Eligible)
How You Will Make an Impact
– Lead exploratory research initiatives to identify opportunities for enhancing business performance.
– Design and execute experiments, including A/B tests, to maximize insights for new product feature launches.
– Manage and refine a suite of business intelligence frameworks and dashboards to enable self-service capabilities for non-technical partners.
– Proactively analyze the overall performance of our Claims and Customer Service operations to detect trends, anomalies, or other actionable insights.
– Identify opportunities to refine analytical methodologies or introduce new techniques to enhance our analytical outputs.
– Foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners to influence strategy and maintain consistent alignment and awareness.
– As a lead, mentor other analysts within the team to increase talent density and promote professional growth.
What You Will Need to Succeed
– A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, with prior experience in the insurance sector preferred.
– At least 2 years of experience in a Senior Analyst or Lead Analyst position.
– Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence software (such as Tableau, Mode, Power BI, etc.).
– Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
– Comprehensive knowledge of experimental design and statistical methodologies.
– Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic and innovative mindset.
– Outstanding written and oral communication skills; comfortable collaborating with and presenting to Director and VP levels.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks across various domains, while maintaining rigorous documentation.
– A proactive work ethic and a “do-what-it-takes” attitude to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
