Job Summary
The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing the quality, quantity, and timeliness of daily meal production. Responsibilities include preparing food in alignment with Parkhurst recipes, standards, and procedures while adhering to strict sanitary guidelines.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare food in accordance with Parkhurst recipes and enforce the "batch" cooking method.
  • Ensure the quality of produced food and maintain both quality and quantity throughout the service period, leveraging production sheets.
  • Guarantee proper line presentation, including the use of appropriate pans, garnishing as needed, and using correct utensils according to recipe specifications. Proper serving temperatures must be maintained as outlined by recipes or management.
  • Facilitate clear communication with team members, such as line servers, regarding daily food item specifics.
  • Complete daily production sheets accurately.
  • Ensure all food items are stored and dated correctly.
  • Adhere to all HACCP guidelines when utilizing leftover food items.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule provided by management, employing "clean as you go" techniques.
  • Maintain open communication with management concerning product and supply needs.
  • Comply with the designated uniform dress code and uphold proper personal hygiene.
  • Uphold all Parkhurst Gold Standards, incorporating the Smile Plus hospitality principles.
  • Support fellow team members whenever possible.
  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned by management.
