Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, and timeliness of meal production each day. This role involves preparing food in accordance with Parkhurst recipes, standards, and procedures in a strictly sanitary environment.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare food in line with Parkhurst recipes and enforce the “batch” cooking method.
  • Ensure the quality of food produced and maintain consistent quality and quantity throughout the service period by utilizing production sheets.
  • Ensure proper line presentation by using appropriate pans, garnishing pans, employing correct utensils as per recipe specifications, and maintaining food products at the specified serving temperatures.
  • Maintain open communication with line servers regarding daily food item specifics.
  • Complete daily production sheets accurately.
  • Ensure that all food items are stored correctly and dated.
  • Adhere to all HACCP guidelines when utilizing leftovers.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule provided by management and utilize “clean as you go” techniques.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding product and supply needs.
  • Adhere to the uniform dress code and uphold proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow all Parkhurst Gold Standards and utilize Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Assist team members whenever possible.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
