Job description:
We are actively seeking accomplished Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of plant production and processing equipment. These positions are available for Second Shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM) and Third Shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM).

Where You’ll Work:
This role is situated in our 24/7 manufacturing facility located in Lawton, MI.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production and processing equipment, utilities, refrigeration, and facilities.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping components, motors, pumps, control panels, pneumatic systems, and controls.
- Continuously enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to maximize machine uptime.
- Provide training to fellow mechanics on equipment maintenance and setup.
- Employ a computerized Maintenance Management System for documentation purposes.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks and propose improvements for operational efficiency.
- Recommend and implement strategies to boost equipment reliability.
- Adhere to food safety, housekeeping, and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Contribute to regular meetings and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Safety-oriented when working with complex automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment.
- Possess strong troubleshooting capabilities complemented by effective communication skills.
- Proactive in identifying root causes and resolving technical issues.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
What You’ll Need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment as a Maintenance Technician or in a related role.
- At least 2 years of hands-on machine maintenance and repair experience is required.
- Prior experience in food, beverage, and/or GMP compliant environments is preferred.
- A multi-craft skillset encompassing Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, and mechanical systems.
- Successful completion of a maintenance aptitude test is mandatory prior to hiring.
