Job Description
Job Title: Resident Aide/Med Tech
Company: Homestead
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $15 for a “Resident Aide/Med Tech” in Sterling Heights, MI, is generally considered below the competitive market rate for this role. Typically, caregivers and medical technicians in Michigan earn between $16 to $20 per hour, with variations based on experience, certifications, and specific employer practices. This wage may not adequately reflect the responsibilities of the position, especially in a healthcare setting where employees often require training and must handle critical tasks. Therefore, attracting skilled workers at this pay level could be challenging, and it may be beneficial for employers to consider adjusting the hourly rate to align more closely with industry standards.
