Job Purpose
The Data Analytics Principal Architect will be responsible for developing, curating, and executing architectures, policies, practices, procedures, and processes related to the management of the organization’s information lifecycle needs. This role encompasses conducting market research and spearheading functional research and development operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with leadership to create and implement long-term strategic objectives for business intelligence and data science roadmaps; explore, study, test, and incorporate new technologies while managing comprehensive knowledge in data sciences and business intelligence.
- Establish and lead enterprise analytics governance frameworks, stewardship initiatives, and procedures to monitor quality, completeness, redundancy, and improvements. Promote the cloud analytics strategy within the organization.
- Guide and support a high-performance team in business intelligence and data sciences to fulfill the organizational data strategy, ensuring projects are delivered with a focus on quality and customer service. Foster team member development through coaching, training, and mentorship.
- Build and sustain relationships across North America and globally to establish trust and credibility by understanding and addressing the needs of internal and external customers as well as vendors. Utilize persuasive communication and influence to optimize results in alignment with Enterprise IT objectives.
Workstyle
- Hybrid: A minimum of 3 days per week at our Ohio office location.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Education:
- A degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.
Minimum Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Sciences, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Information Management.
- Certifications in Analytics, Data Science, and Business Intelligence tools and technologies are required.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategy, project execution, and operations management.

- Operational experience with Data Science tools such as Dataiku, Open Data Hub, and SageMaker.
- Proficient in SQL and various database platforms, including MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of cloud-based technologies, including data connectivity and storage options (S3, Glacier), data lakes, master data management, cloud data cataloging, cloud warehouses (Redshift), cloud ETL/ELT tools, cloud databases, and cloud infrastructure.
