Key Responsibilities:

– Educate residents, families, nursing staff, food service personnel, and other community members regarding special diets and residents’ dining needs.
– Document assessments, nutritional goals, and interventions for residents in their medical records.
– Review and approve daily menus, snacks, and supplement programs for residents.
– Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff regarding residents’ nutritional status.
– Participate in resident rounds and nutrition meetings, ensuring clinical nutrition policies are maintained to uphold regulatory compliance.
