As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, which includes receiving food orders and preparing exquisite dishes for our valued guests. Your responsibilities will encompass the proper setup of the kitchen, ensuring that every team member has access to necessary products and tools throughout their shift. Our Line Cooks thrive in a dynamic Back of House environment and are tasked with the following essential duties:

  • Adhere to recipes and implement portion control in the preparation, garnishing, and presentation of ordered items.
  • Maintain an organized and adequately stocked kitchen station daily.
  • Requisition and stock all necessary food items, paper products, and condiments.
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate all food products.
  • Oversee the setup, regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure the daily stock, cutting, and storage of perishables, maintaining product quality.
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of all products served.
  • Execute general and specific cleaning tasks in compliance with health standards, using standard cleaning products as directed by supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a food service environment.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language to effectively communicate with guests and take orders.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Possession of a food handler’s permit, as mandated by law.
