We are currently looking for dedicated Home Care Aides to join our Help at Home team in Mount Gilead, Ohio. This part-time, entry-level position offers evening shifts from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, with opportunities for additional hours available. Role Overview:
As a Home Care Aide, you will provide one-on-one support for clients in their homes through a variety of tasks, including:
- Light housekeeping, such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
- Personal care activities, including dressing, grooming, and meal assistance
- Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified STNA or a minimum of one year of supervised work experience as a home health aide or nurse aide; or completion of a Training and Competency Evaluation Program of at least 30 hours covering the necessary topics.
- If you do not hold the above qualifications, you will be required to complete a 30-hour company-paid training program prior to client interaction.
- Good physical health, with documentation of a tuberculosis test within six months before your first assignment (as required).
- Commitment to professional development, including completion of organizational and state-required training.
*Please note that caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses may vary by state and location. In Ohio, effective December 9, 2024, eligibility for a $500 hiring bonus will be contingent upon remaining an active employee with a minimum of 500 hours worked. A second bonus of $500 will also be provided to caregivers who complete an additional 500 hours. Caregivers must be active employees at the time of bonus payout. New and previous caregivers who have not worked with Help at Home within the past 12 months may qualify for the bonus; however, caregivers transferring from another organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio will not be eligible.
