A Day in the Life:
– Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
– Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
– Deliver goods promptly and securely to customer locations, whether local or long-distance.
– Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and internal company policies.
– Maintain a clean driving record, ensuring all logs and paperwork are submitted in a timely manner.
– Manage cargo loading and unloading, ensuring that all items are secured safely.
– Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.
– Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, promptly reporting any issues to management.
The Must-Haves:
– A valid Class A CDL.
– A clean driving record in alignment with our fleet safety standards.
– Proficiency in operating and navigating a variety of commercial vehicles.
– Capability to lift up to 30 pounds and manage loading and unloading tasks.
– Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
– Excellent communication and time-management skills.
– Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
– Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance with ELD requirements.
