Shift: Primarily second shift, with weekend availability required

Essential Functions:
- Greet all guests in a friendly and approachable manner, making personal connections to foster a welcoming environment.
- Conduct property walk-arounds during your shift to identify and address any issues, ensuring the area is clean and safe.
- Develop a list of parts suppliers and procure necessary maintenance items while adhering to budget guidelines to minimize equipment downtime and revenue loss. Seek approval from the General Manager for significant purchases.
- Utilize Quore to document maintenance issues, including detailed records of tasks completed and those requiring attention.
- Oversee daily water checks of the swimming pool and spa for health compliance, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of these areas.
- Ensure the security of the property by managing master keys and verifying that all security equipment, such as cameras and door locks, are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate files of essential documents, including state-mandated pool and spa records, boiler certifications, and elevator inspection certificates.
- Assist in testing fire protection systems and train personnel in their operation.
- Execute painting and touch-up tasks as needed.
- Repair and patch damaged drywall.
- Conduct minor electrical replacements and repairs, which may involve some wiring work.
- Perform plumbing repairs and replacements.
- Assist with lawn maintenance, snow removal, and overall grounds cleanliness.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen, laundry, boiler, and HVAC systems based on your expertise.
- Address guest complaints or issues promptly, in accordance with Suburban Inns’ standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing preventative maintenance program for the hotel and restaurant.
- Ensure clear communication among all hotel departments.
- Operate company vehicles and heavy machinery, including lawn care and snow removal equipment.
- Adhere to all Suburban Inns’ processes.
- Maintain a consistent attendance record.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum Knowledge: Must possess the ability to interpret information, perform arithmetic functions, and demonstrate proficiency in typing and basic computer skills. Strong communication skills are essential.
- Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: At least one year of relevant job experience is required.
- License, Training, and/or Certification: Hazcom Training and Lock-Out/Tag-Out certification are necessary.
- An excellent driving record is required.
