Job description:
The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing maintenance and engineering operations at Philadelphia Airport, which features over 200 guest rooms. This role requires a hands-on approach and involves supervising a team of maintenance staff, managing the budget, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and punctually.
– Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
– Oversee the repair and upkeep of the hotel’s physical plant, including building systems, equipment, and fixtures.
– Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring expenses are controlled and funds are allocated appropriately.
– Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
