Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team, delivering exceptional service to hotel guests with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. This position is essential in fostering a welcoming and inviting breakfast area, ensuring that guests enjoy superior experiences through outstanding customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and takedown of the breakfast area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while upholding CSM’s high standards of quality to maximize guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement
- Greet all guests courteously and warmly to create a positive first impression.
- Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs, delivering exceptional service.
- Assist team members as needed to meet and exceed guest expectations.
Breakfast Area Operations
- Set up, maintain, and take down the breakfast area to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain food and beverage stations to the highest safety and health standards.
- Manage food inventory, complete par sheets, and assist with ordering as necessary.
Sanitation and Compliance
- Keep the breakfast area, kitchen, and dish room clean, organized, and in compliance with CSM, brand, and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Dispose of waste, clear and wipe tables, restock supplies, and transfer full tubs to the dish room.
- Wash and organize dishes, barware, and utensils.
Team Collaboration
- Actively contribute to team success by fulfilling required side work and assisting when necessary.
- Attend mandatory meetings and adhere to CSM policies, procedures, and grooming standards.
- Follow emergency procedures and remain knowledgeable about hotel protocols.
Competencies/Skills Required
- Must possess or be able to obtain a food service handling certification as required.
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
- Must be able to walk, stand, carry, and lift continuously during working hours.
Competencies/Skills Preferred
- TIPS/CARE beverage service certification preferred, or the ability to obtain as required.
