Job description:
The Front Desk Concierge plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing all incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy. This position is responsible for providing residents, staff, guests, and vendors with information, directions, and appropriate assistance. The role also entails performing various clerical duties as assigned and adhering to established policies and procedures, as well as specific instructions from the Director of Plant Operations. Additionally, the Concierge is integral to the daily operations of the Concierge/Security department, ensuring the safety and security of the community, its residents, staff, and visitors.

Salary: $14.00 per hour
Part-time schedule: 3 nights per week from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and one weekend per month from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
– Open and close the front desk, ensuring that all files, keys, and equipment are securely stored in the office area.
– Effectively communicate messages and materials to the appropriate parties in a timely and clear manner.
– Accept and accurately record payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations as directed.
– Confirm scheduled transportation and event registrations with residents.
– Greet and assist all individuals entering the community, providing guidance and support to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors to present a positive image of the community.
– Participate in in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
– Carry out specific duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
– In the event of emergencies or natural disasters, the employee may be required to report for duty as assigned by the Director of Plant Operations until the emergency has passed.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma is preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, hold a valid Michigan Driver’s License, and be capable of obtaining CPR/AED certification. Proficiency in various computer applications is also required.
