Job description:

As a Housekeeper with Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be essential in ensuring a clean and safe environment within a long-term care facility. Responsibilities:

• Execute daily housekeeping tasks, which include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Adhere to established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Implement infection control and universal precautions policies to uphold a sanitary environment.
• Foster positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership while performing daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is necessary.
• Ability to lift or carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Competence in following both oral and written instructions to execute daily repetitive tasks.
• Residency within the service area is required.
