Job description:
The Cardiorenal Sales Consultant (CSC) is responsible for executing sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products, ensuring alignment with Bayer’s compliance standards and all relevant legal requirements. This position targets key Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems in the Mansfield, OH territory, focusing on access and utilization of approved cardiovascular (CV) products with appropriate patients.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Establish and nurture professional relationships with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including those in cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, primary care, and pharmacy staff within assigned accounts.
– Promote the appropriate utilization of approved CV products while collaborating closely with other Bayer commercial associates to enhance access within the local payer community and HCPs.
– Utilize expertise in diabetes, nephrology, and cardiovascular disease (CVD), alongside comprehensive knowledge of the marketplace, competitors, and cross-functional initiatives, to proactively address business opportunities and challenges.
– Provide strategic insights and thoughtful input to commercial team members, such as sales leadership and regional account managers, to support effective planning for the territory, area, and region.
– Develop and execute tailored territory plans based on customer needs, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
– Strategically prioritize time and resources to ensure comprehensive coverage of key physician specialists in accordance with opportunities and potential impact.
– Fully understand the unique product and business needs of assigned customers, ensuring alignment with Bayer’s ethical standards and compliance policies.
– Anticipate potential barriers to success and propose actionable solutions to achieve objectives.
– Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and possess in-depth knowledge of disease states, critical factors, influencers, and prescribing patterns within the territory.
– Skillfully manage customer objections and consistently exceed expectations regarding the value provided to physicians, with opportunities to mentor colleagues in the region.

Required Qualifications:
