Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $28 – 30 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $28 – $30 for a “Driver Class A (ICSS)” in Cincinnati, OH, is generally competitive within the trucking industry, particularly for independent contractors and specialized roles. As of 2023, salaries for Class A drivers often range from $20 to $35 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, type of freight, and additional certifications. While this rate is on the higher end for typical company drivers, it is reasonable for independent contractors who may have higher costs associated with owning and operating their own vehicle. Additionally, regional demand for drivers in Cincinnati and fluctuations in the labor market may further influence competitiveness; thus, this rate appears to align well with current industry standards for the area and type of position.
