Immediate opportunity available for a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Associate to contribute to our facility at Ryder in Etna, Ohio. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team and work within the safest supply chain environment, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
- Hourly Pay: $20.00
- Products Handled: Consumer Goods & Products
- Equipment: Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of related warehouse experience required
- One year or more of related warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to learn to operate powered industrial trucks and maintain them, including battery changes and recognition of common mechanical issues
- Proficiency in operating manual and/or automated warehouse or manufacturing equipment, such as packaging lines, is preferred
- Certification in powered industrial truck operation
- Ability to read and perform basic mathematics in English for safety and operational instructions
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Proficiency in data entry into the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Availability to work overtime as assigned
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels
- Strong capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt and motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and strong follow-up practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring accurate scanning
- Assist in training new dock employees on updated procedures
- Secure the facility at the end of each shift; address and resolve scanning irregularities and housekeeping tasks
- Perform picking and packing duties, checking for product or container damage
- Execute tasks in compliance with location policies and standards related to material handling
- Conduct material moves in alignment with the necessary transactions
- Engage in team activities aimed at personal development and enhancing warehouse operations
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and perform additional duties as required
