Pay: $16.11 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16.11 for the role of “Emergency Shelter Shift Monitor” in Pontiac, MI is on the lower end of the spectrum when compared to industry standards for similar positions in that area. According to typical wages for similar roles in the social services and shelter management sectors, rates often range from approximately $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, responsibilities, and specific agency funding. While $16.11 is slightly above the minimum wage in Michigan, it may not sufficiently attract or retain qualified candidates, particularly considering the demanding nature of the work and the potential need for specialized skills or training. Overall, this rate could be seen as reasonable but not fully competitive, potentially impacting staff recruitment and retention.
