Job Title: Bistro Cook

Company: Aimbridge Hospitality

Location: Portage, MI

Pay: $16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16 for a Bistro Cook in Portage, MI, is slightly below the average for similar positions in the region. Typically, cooks at bistros or casual dining establishments in Michigan can earn between $15 to $20 per hour, with experienced cooks often commanding rates on the higher end of that scale. The competitive nature of the local job market and the cost of living also influence these figures. Thus, while $16 is not unmanageable, it may be less attractive to potential candidates, especially when considering the demands of the role and the expected skills required. Overall, it may be prudent for employers to assess their compensation strategy to attract and retain quality talent effectively.
