Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant/Housekeeper to ensure the cleanliness and appeal of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas within our hotel. This role is responsible for servicing guest rooms daily in alignment with hotel procedures, replenishing room supplies, and replacing linens. Additionally, the position entails adhering to company standards and safety/security protocols. In specific situations, the Room Attendant/Housekeeper may also participate in deep cleaning activities and preventive maintenance tasks within guest accommodations.

Qualifications:
– A High School diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
– Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
– Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and concisely.
– Capacity to evaluate and select from various courses of action swiftly and accurately.
– Ability to perform well under pressure in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities:
– Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
– Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, with schedules that may vary depending on hotel needs.
– Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).
– Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
– Thoroughly clean and restock the specified number of guest rooms during each shift.
– Complete all pre-cleaning duties, which encompass preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens.
– Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
– Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
– Occasionally disassemble furniture or items within guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
– Perform deep cleaning tasks which may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, restoring scratched furniture, or re-hanging sliding doors.
