The Automotive Technician is dedicated to delivering the highest quality repairs and services to ensure customer satisfaction. Applicants must possess state certification (applicable in Michigan only), along with knowledge and experience in key areas covered by the ASE certification programs, including Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance—both for Light Vehicles and Diesel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle repairs across various systems, including Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• State of Michigan Mechanic Certification (applicable in Michigan only).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive repair experience, with a focus on under-car repairs, braking systems, and alignments.
• A high school diploma, GED, or vocational certificate is preferred.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, Monday through Saturday, in a workshop environment that requires significant physical activity and prolonged standing.
