Tuffy Tire is pleased to announce its partnership with Mavis Tires & Brakes. We are currently seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to become part of Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers located in the Farmington Hills, MI area. As one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations, we offer a dynamic work environment.

Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient operations of the repair shop. Responsibilities include scheduling mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, ensuring the high quality and timely completion of services to exceed customer expectations, maintaining personnel safety, and ensuring the cleanliness of the shop. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge in under-car repairs, alignments, tire services, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Strong communication skills are essential for relaying safety and mechanical issues to the Store Manager and addressing customer inquiries. Basic supervisory and leadership skills are crucial for effectiveness in this role.

Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager plays a vital role in assisting customers with tire selections and necessary under-car repair services. This is a sales-focused position that requires previous sales experience in products or services involving upselling techniques. Familiarity with automotive repairs and knowledge of the industry will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a personable, outgoing demeanor, with a strong orientation toward achieving success.
