As a part-time associate, you will have the opportunity to sample products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. In this role, Product Demonstrators play a crucial part in introducing customers to innovative items and brands through product tasting events, sampling sessions, and demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
You will be responsible for engaging customers and articulating the key features of the products. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with food safety regulations while preparing samples, which includes cooking, processing, plating, and serving. Collaborating with the team, you will work towards achieving sales goals for the featured products.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be at least 16 years of age; please note that roles involving alcohol and production require candidates to be 18 or older. Weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) is preferred, though opportunities for work on holidays and weekdays are also available. Applicants must have reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays and possess the ability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates. Additionally, you should be able to stand for the duration of event sessions.
