As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are pristine and welcoming. Your primary responsibilities will include the daily servicing of guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards, restocking housekeeping carts with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while adhering to company safety and security protocols. Additionally, you may be responsible for performing ‘deep cleaning’ tasks in guest rooms as part of preventative maintenance routines.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess the capability to clearly convey information and ideas.
  • Ability to assess situations quickly and accurately to determine the best course of action.
  • Must thrive in high-pressure situations and maintain composure.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests and colleagues with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor.
  • Adhere to regular attendance standards as established by Aimbridge Hospitality, adjusting your schedule based on hotel needs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, including compliance with uniform and name tag requirements as per brand standards.
  • Follow all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning responsibilities, including organizing guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Undertake various tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or other items in guest rooms for deep cleaning purposes.
  • Deep cleaning responsibilities may include tasks such as changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
