Job Title: Server (Restaurant)

Company: Kewadin Casinos

Location: Manistique, MI

Pay: $9.64 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly wage of $9.64 for a Server in Manistique, MI, is significantly below the minimum wage for tipped employees, which is generally higher due to the expectation of gratuities from customers. The standard pay for servers can vary widely, but many positions in the hospitality industry offer rates closer to $12-$15 per hour or higher before tips, depending on the area and establishment. Given that the cost of living in Manistique is relatively moderate, this rate appears uncompetitive and does not align with the industry standards for servers in many parts of Michigan, potentially leading to staffing challenges and employee dissatisfaction.
