At Home Instead in Clawson, you will assume a role that transcends the title of Caregiver; you will become a Care Professional (Care Pro).

We are actively seeking both part-time and full-time Care Pros to join our dedicated team, with availability for weekdays and weekends. We respect your time and therefore require shifts to be a minimum of four hours in length. Our block scheduling system is designed to establish consistent and reliable work schedules for our Care Pros.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance
  • Prepare nutritious meals
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Facilitate transportation for clients
  • Deliver companionship and emotional support
  • Care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s
  • Provide hospice support as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to accommodate block scheduling hours:
    • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    • 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to transport oneself to client locations within the service area (southeastern Oakland County)
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening is required.
