Schedule:

  • Home Daily: Approximately 85% of Driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Work Pattern: Typical schedule is 4×12.
  • Saturday Deliveries: Occasional Saturday delivery required.
  • Vacation Coverage: May involve interim night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Efficiently unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing them in designated storage areas.
  • Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and acquire necessary signatures.
  • Facilitate collections and payments from customers when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 20 to over 80 lbs. repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions, with frequent stops (exceeding 10 per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.*
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry OR three months of experience in food and/or beverage delivery.
  • Preference for candidates with manual transmission operation experience; may be required in some locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential, including understanding traffic signs, responding to inquiries, and maintaining reports.
