In this role, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring that Associates work efficiently and collaboratively as a team. Your primary goal will be to ensure an exceptional customer experience by actively engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. You will serve as a role model for outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
  • Promote a culture grounded in honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Oversee the delivery of merchandise, prioritizing the timely processing of products onto the sales floor.
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing best practices.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is appropriately tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to facilitate a smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Guide Associates in completing tasks in alignment with the store plan, adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as needed.
  • Organize and rotate back stock to ensure effortless replenishment.
  • Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom area.
  • Ensure compliance with recycling initiatives and, where relevant, hazardous waste programs.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Provide and embrace recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with management to assess and address training needs for Associates.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support store shrink reduction goals and initiatives.
  • Foster safety awareness and maintain a secure environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position offers a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a variety of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
